Ruffino is a prestigious Tuscan winery renowned for its Chianti wines, with a history dating back to the 19th century. Notably, it was the first Chianti to be imported into the USA. The winery boasts extensive vineyard holdings, including Poggio Casciano, Santedame, and Gretole, and is transitioning many estates to organic viticulture. Ruffino's celebrated Riserva Ducale honors the Duke of Aosta and is known for its consistent quality. The Gran Selezione wines, Riserva Ducale Oro and Romitorio, showcase traditional Sangiovese blends. Acquired by Constellation Brands in 2011, Ruffino has expanded its reach, now managing 1,500 hectares across Tuscany and Veneto, producing a diverse range of wines, including Prosecco and Pinot Grigio.
