About the Producer
Champagne Robert Barbichon, located in the Côte des Bar, embodies four generations of winemaking history. Once a significant wine region before the 19th century, it faced challenges, but the estate has flourished under the stewardship of Robert Barbichon's sons, Thomas and Maxime. Since taking over, they have embraced organic and biodynamic farming practices across their 9 hectares of vineyards, achieving Demeter certification in 2012. The estate primarily cultivates Pinot Noir (6.5 hectares), along with Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier, and Pinot Blanc, with an average vineyard age of 30 years. This commitment to sustainable viticulture and a focus on quality reflects their dedication to producing exceptional Champagne, enhancing the legacy of the Barbichon family in this historic region.
