About the Producer
At Domaine Céline Perrin in Ladois, it was converted to organic farming in 2003 and was certified Ecocert in 2008. Céline Perrin took over the estate from her father, Christian, in 2015. It is the fifth generation on this 9-hectare land, with 10 vineyards in different appellations. The winery sells most of its small-batch wines to local customers and restaurants. "Our viticulture is based on respect for the soil and the rhythms of the seasons, allowing nature and the terroir to express themselves. In the vineyards, weed control is done both mechanically (blades along the base of the vine) and manually using hoes". The vineyards here are doing excellent work and are going organic with very little pruning and no green harvest. Of course, hand-picked and fermented with wild yeast, about 10% to 25% new oak, minimal white wine bottons and natural fining.
