Blanc de Blancs, revealing depth and precision Duval-Leroy, the only major House of the Côte des Blancs, demonstrates its perfect knowledge of Grand Cru terroirs and its in-depth mastery of Chardonnay vinification, the emblematic grape variety of this historic chalk terroir. The ambition of Duval-Leroy: « To offer expressive wines, rich in emotion, with an incomparable sparkling. Flavorful wines that are always aromatic, that speak the language of their origins and their terroirs. » Femme de Champagne was conceived to showcase the finest parcels of the Maison, with evocative names such as Montaigu, Chouilly, Chapelle d’Avize, La Côte, Petite et Grande Roses, Carelle, and Volibarts from Mesnil-sur-Oger. These precious grapes are vinified separately, partly in oak barrels. This champagne of character and structure expresses a personality that is both elegant and intense, with a remarkable body andbeautiful length. Flavorful wines that are never in aromatic demonstration, that speak the language of their origins and terroirs." Sparkling gold color with fine, persistent bubbles. Rich, subtle aromas that are both complex and refreshing. The initial nose is floral, followed by notes of blood oranges and roasted hot almonds. This is a great Champagne of depth, tight and mineral, characterized by elegant vinosity, finely structured and wooded.
