By Farr is located in the Geelong wine region of Victoria, Australia. The winery is renowned for its production of Pinot Noir grapes with a delicate, clean style and potential for ageing. Due to its rare production and outstanding quality, it has gained a growing reputation in Australia and is known as the "Star Vineyard of Geelong, Victoria". The soil at Bafat is made up of volcanic clay and limestone, and is relatively poor and well-drained, making it ideal for growing grapes. Viognier, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Shiraz clones are planted in the vineyard. Under the careful management of the Farr family, the quality of the grapes is outstanding, and with Gary Farr's skillful hand, the winery produces four great Australian wines with a Burgundian flair. The wines produced at Baifa include Chardonnay, Viognier, Syrah and Pinot Noir, each with its own distinctive character.
